I have my dessert buffet menu almost totally sorted.
I have some cute little glasses that I am going to put some desserts in. They are 2 inches high and hold about 50mL. This pic probably shows them almost lifesize.
I am making a chocolate mousse to put in some, but I want one more dessert that I can put in the glasses. It needs to be something that will survive being made the day before.
On the dessert buffet we will already be having mini cheesecakes, cupcakes, mini sticky date puddings, cookies, chocolates, and brownies; as well as fruit that can be served in martini glasses with cream, yoghurt, sauces and toppings.
Any ideas or inspiration? What would you love to see served in these glasses?

Ok first, your dessert bar sounds AMAZING…As for ideas, I know some restaurants like Seasons 52 do dessert shots. Maybe you could check our their menus or even do a taste test haha. Sounds like you have most types of desserts covered…maybe a layered carrot cake, key lime pie, strawberry shortcake?

Whoops just saw you aren’t in the US so probably no Seasons 52…still, maybe some restaurants by you do dessert shots you could check out for inspiration?

You have flavours covered really well but how about a different texture? I don’t see much in the way of crunchy foods there. What about a mini creme brulee? If you go heavy on the burnt sugar topping that would give you your crunch and only the topping would have to be done at the last minute. Or maybe just a creme brulee base and then some burnt sugar/glass candy cracked and decoratively placed in the top instead of the cooking torch method.
Or maybe a little dab of apple pie filling in the cup and a round of pastry placed atop?
Your dessert buffet sounds so thoughtfully planned and balanced, your guests are going to remember your wedding for a long time!
