I am a military bride, with lots and lots of letters that my fiance and I had written back and forth for months.
the letters mean a lot to us and I want to do something to display all the envelopes at the wedding! worst case I’ll do a simple collage…
Any ideas?!!

Perhaps you could cover the card box with some? That might ruin them though, not sure if you want to go that far…I think a collage is actually really great…you can use them as a backdrop to a seating chart? Incorporate them into the centerpieces…if you aren’t using flowers, or even if you are! That is all I have at the moment, I may be back lol…I love diy projects

You could use mini clothes pins and clip them to twine/ribbon to make letter bunting. Could be used to decorate walls, entry ways, tables, etc.

O! So I have seen some people have an old fashioned typewriter for people to write letters to the bride and groom, you could also set this up with pen/pencil and paper, and give a little background on your letters and how much they mean to you….I bet you would get some really great feedback!

You could display them on plate stands like the upper right pic here

stack then up as a display on the cake table or guestbook table

you could make bunting with the letters in the envelopes-or just the envelopes

use other envelopes elsewhere in your decor – like these ones used to display cookies

Find a vintage (or not so vintage mailbox and have the letters tumebling out

find an old mail sorting box to display the letters-upper left

display with vintage typewriter

maybe you could incorporate them into the table numbers and frame them somehow?

Hmmm…. thank you ladies! Very appreciated.
I really like the mailbox idea – getting a mailbox as my card box and then displaying the rest of the letters around….
