Hi Bees! I am in need of some inspiration or just some help!
I want to use the venue’s centerpiece provided below…but I want to accent it with some red (colors are red black and white (black and white damask runners on white table cloths)
I thought about putting red aqua beads in the candles and using a submersible LED, but that is going to cost a fortune for 31 tables (186 leds and 6 gallons of beads!). Does anyone have any other ideas for some red touches? I want something a bit more elaborate than rose petal or gem scatter on the table.
My bouquets are going to be made out of wood sola flowers, so as a last resort, I could replace their white silk flowers with red solas….but I am just not happy enough with that!
The pic below is one option of a centerpiece.
The second pic is the actual venue and another (silk) centerpiece option.
Any help would be appreciated!

Not really sure because I can’t see the centrepiece clearly, but maybe add some sort of soft red base for the candle holders? My friend had some sort of lace mermaidtail on her’s at her wedding, and it was beautiful.

@arathella: That is a good idea – I was thinking that, too.
I am also looking at all the dollartree options – and that seems like a neat idea too.
What is a lace mermaid tail?

The 1st set of centerpieces are 6 glass holders, with a bunch of white silk flowers at the base. The 6 holders are all different sizes…

@cali: It’s hard to explain, but it was basically a base to the candle holders that was shaped like a mermail tail dress and made of lace. The shape was like this one, below the bust (so without the human-like shape):
just covered in lace and then the bottom (the wide part) was free-flowing lace.

As a pp has already stated, it’s very hard to see any of the centerpiece detail from your pics.
Do you have any better pics?
Options for the first centerpiece:
– use red candles
– add a few red silk flowers to the arrangement
– place the whole arrangement on a red base, e.g charger plate, red tile
Options for the second (tall) centerpiece:
– add some red silk flowers
