I’m doing a yellow, gold and chocolate brown candy table for 80 guests…
We are going to have:
Pineapple Gummy Bears
Lemon Gummy Bears
Buttered Popcorn Jelly Bellys
Chocolate Covered Almonds
Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
Yellow Cake Ball Pops (a la bakerella.com)
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Yellow and Brown M&Ms
Do you guys think this is enough? Anything else yellow, gold or brown that you would love to see on a table like this?
Thank you for your help!

if you want to look for more ideas, here’s a website that let’s you pick candys by color… http://www.candyfavorites.com/colors.php?gclid=CNqQksHX86QCFU465QoddH2miA

Thanks, I’ve been through a few sites like that. I’m just wondering if people will think this is enough variety and if there is anything major I am missing.

Just a side note: are you keeping the Reese’s PB cups wrapped? If so, they’ll be orange. If they are unwrapped, it will probably get too messy and melty.

It’s a big enough selection for sure! The only suggestion I have is candy corn, it’s so cheap! I know it doesn’t exactly fit all color specifications since it has orange but it’s about all I can think of. You have great candy choices, a perfect combo of some chocolate and fruity candies.
Just make sure you get enough of each item. I’m struggling with how much to get myself when I purchase candy for my buffet in the spring. How many pounds of candy are you geting for the table?

I’m doing the little ones that are mostly gold with a little bit of orange on the wrapper and keeping them wrapped…

Sounds gorgeous and super yummy! Love that you have some chocolate and some non-chocolate, some wrapped and some not.

that sounds like a lot! plenty if not too much! personally I dont like the “buttered popcorn” flavor. Maybe mix it up with some other flavors.

I think depending on the amount of each, you should be fine. I am going for mostly brown for the color of our candy, so I am using the following:
- chocolate candy sticks
- root beer candy sticks
- milk chocolate covered oreos
- milk chocolate pecan caramel turtles
- cherry cola saltwater taffy
- sesame seed snaps
- mary jane’s candy
- chocolate chip cookies
- peanut butter cookies
These might give you some ideas to add to yours, if you really want to add more.
