I really love it just as is. The design really draws my eye right to the ruby. I would probably buy a wrap or enhancer and experiment with the look before making a committment. Gorgeous ring!

I really like your ring as it is. The ruby is the highlight of the ring. Have you thought about what your wedding band would look like? That might help you decide seeing it all together.

I personally love your ring just as it is, but since you were looking at 3 prong settings I wondered have you looked at pear side stones?

How about half moons instead like this (picture with ruby obviously) – was the first thing I thought of because of the lovely shape/proportions of your oval!!! http://www.victorcanera.com/jewelry/engagement-rings/the-alexia-halo-trilogy

It does look fantastic as it is. But if you really want to change it it has a lot of potential!! It would get very blingy though, if that’s what your after.

I found more ruby+half-moon pics, both with and without halos, if it helps you visualise – it could go from very full on/glam/blingy to more understated:

I just got a ring with alternating round and baguette stones along the shank. I don’t think the round stones look good with the ruby halo tbh. But diamonds on either side of the band would give a different look to the ring without pave.

sominted:  That makes sense then. I do like the look of the baguettes instead of the round. It looks more cohesive.

I love when a ring is unique and not a usual style. Adding side stones seems to do just that! I voted to add 2 3mm round stones. But then I saw the link to the ring with tapered baguettes and that looks awesome too. Anyhow, I am in the camp of adding stones 😉
