I am looking for some input on my tablescapes! I am trying to create an elegant and romatic theme and our colors are navy and coral with touches of gold.
Our venue is in a big wooden a-frame at a resort. We are planning to use their house chairs because they are super comfortable (and free). Here is a small picture of the venue:
The plan is to do navy or ivory satin tablecloths, ivory/gold shimmery napkins, ivory/gold place settings. Our centerpieces will be white and gold lanterns. The larger lantern will be filled with coral/peach and white flowers, the smaller will have a coral candle in it. I was thinking of putting these on a stained wood riser in the middle of the table, to tie into the wood, but haven’t decided. The lanterns would be similar to these:
I can’t decide on table numbers. I was thinking of buying freestanding wood numbers and staining them a medium color (to tie into the wood a-frame); or painting them coral. Like these-
Or I love these on etsy, with the gold or melon paint color: https://www.etsy.com/listing/181044802/wedding-wood-table-number-made-to-order
Any suggestions or input? The venue already has a ton of character so I want to make sure nothing really clashes.
