So we had a change of plans and cancelled the big wedding in the spring due to COVID uncertainties. We decided we’re sick of being not married anyway so we’re having a micro wedding in December and a larger reception with his family in Australia whenever it’s possible to do so. Anyway, I had bought my dress for a late May wedding and it’s sleeveless (with optional drop sleeves). December in Pennsylvania is cold. I’m up in the air about whether to get a bolero or a fur. I’ve attached photos of my dress, veil, and hair piece to give you an idea of the vibe.

I guess it depends on the vibe you want, but I personally would get a lace topper/bolero type thing like the bottom one you posted.
Plus what about a big wool blanket-style scarf? You’d get some lovely photos in that!

You could also consider an opera coat:

I bought a white fake fur stole for my wedding and it helped keep me warm and also looked good.

I like the idea of a bolero because it will transition the dress nicely to a more “winter” theme. In my opinion, fur is not that unique but a bolero you could really have fun with (again just my humble opinion). Although you might need something else to keep you warm if you take photos outside or just transitioning from place to place. I got a green hooded wool coat and loved it, I was married in NJ in November and it happened to be a chilly day too.

What about a shawl, that you could easily take off… something like this? but white…
