If it’s vintage, it’s not moissy since that was introduced in the early 1990’s. From the facets, it doesn’t look like a gemstone or CZ, my guess would be crystal.

It really reminds me of a YAG, Yttrium aluminum garnet. It comes in many colors including clear/white. YAG was really popular before CZs came on the market. I had some in a pair of earrings until they were stolen years ago. They are very pretty and Don’t have the clouding issue CZs can have.

FiveYearsIn: Lab created sapphire? It kind of reminds me of that, but I’m for sure no expert. It is so pretty though! What a find!

HoorayLouLou: No, it’s totally clear/even whitish under normal lighting; but it absorbs whatever color is around it, and yesteray, I was wearing a light pink shirt, hence the hint of color it has in the pictures.
