Hey everyone, the SO and I decided to get a warmer color (K color) solitaire engagement ring to save some money and be able to get a bigger rock. It’s ACA from whiteflash so it’s a super ideal cut hearts and arrows. Now for the wedding ring I’ve started to learn about moissanite and other diamond alternatives and I’m considering a non-diamond wedding band. However my problem is the K color…My engagement band is in 18k rose gold with a platinum head to hide the “yellow” of the diamond a little bit…I’m hoping to get a wedding band completely in rose gold so that the stones will face up more warm and match my engagement ring more.
The key is I want the stone color in my engagement ring and wedding band to match in color!
Now my dilemma is I’ve never seen a moissanite in person so I really don’t know how they will look with my engagement ring. Anyone have a warmer engagement ring with moissanite? I’m thinking of going near colorless forever one but I just learned about amora as well. What do you guys recommend? Which one will be more “warm”?

At this time, Amora Gems don’t come in sizes small enough to use in a wedding band. Currently the smallest size in the BTD inventory is about .75cts also, the majority are D-F colour.
I think your best bet is going to be the near colourless F1 stones – you could also use a reputable moissantie seller that can inspect and choose the stones going into the band so that they best match your e-ring. I’ve used Moissaniteco.com for multiple moissy pieces and have found Chris to be super helpful.

Does anyone have a warmer engagement ring with a halo of moissanite or a moissanite wedding band?

You should look into Charles and colvard forever classic moissanite. Their color is around your k colored diamond

sjla : The diamonds in my ring are H, so nearly colorless, but have the tendancy to be warm. I orded a moissanite band from MoissaniteCo, and I am assuming that it will be here by next Friday at the latest. I tried talking to their customer service about my concerns with an H stone, but what I was told was that they only carry forever one or their own brand version of that for wedding bands when I asked if they had forever brilliant (which would work better with a warmer stone versus forever one, which is DEF quality). So, there’s a chance that my stone might look pretty warm next to these, but I figured that if I didn’t like it when it arrived, I’d just have to settle back into a diamond band or another moissanite company. If you haven’t made up your mind by the end of next week, I’ll message you a photo of mine.

The forever ones definitely won’t look warm. They’ll look very white. You’re far better off going with forever brilliant or even classic moissanite.
