I think it’s a little too dark.  You have almost a year – could you shop around for something a little lighter?

I agree it is too dark.  Shop around on etsy!  They have so many to choose from on there!  I think they start for as little as $30. Goodluck!

When my aunt got married her veil and dress were noticeably different colors. When we left the wedding my mom looked at me and said “her dress and veil don’t match,” so I know I’m not the only one who noticed. There are a lot of bees on here who sell their veils, and there are other sites (like RecycledBride.com) where you can find one for cheap. You have time to look for one.

Personally I would get a lighter veil that goes with the dress better

Personally I don’t think it looks all that different. I mean I can tell it’s a little darker, but I don’t think it looks bad. Another thing you could do if you don’t want to buy a new one, make one! I made mine and it took just a couple hours, and it was only $20 just buy a plastic comb and tulle from a fabric store! There are tons of tutorials to use!

Where are you in Texas? I found a great place for veils in Houston, my fingertip length veil was only $48! Are you anywhere near there?

I think it kind of makes the veil look dirty to have such a white dress. Etsy has some really simple and cheap veils, or post in classifieds or shop on used bridal shops!

get a lighter veil.  i was told to either get it to match or go a shade lighter because darker makes the veil look dirty.  you can make your own veil for pretty cheap.  i’m planning on making my own silk tulle veil.  (i don’t know why i felt a need to buy 21 combs.)
