I absolutely loved my dress when I bought it, I knew it was the one! My dress arrived last weekend and I couldn’t wait to get to the store to try it on. I knew it was going to be too big because I have lost weight since I purchased it, but I feel like it doesn’t look the same as the sample…and that the sample actual looked better. Obviously when I tried the sample on they had it clipped so tight I could barely breathe, and when I tried on my way too big actual dress, she said they don’t like to clip them because it stretches the dress. She assured me that alterations would make it fit the correct way, but now I am panicking a little bit! Any advice/opinions are appreciated!
My actual (too big) dress:

I picked up my dress on Friday and had the exact same feelings. Our dresses even look similar!
I didn’t lose any weight but when she clipped the too large sample dress it was tighter further down than the dress in my size. She assured me they can fix it in alterations but i was really less excited when picking up the dress because of it.
