I wouldn’t throw away a towel i think its cute but probably dont put your names on them it’d be weird to use a towel with someone else’s name, i dont know just my opinion, but the idea is really cute!

haha aw.. I love that book! I think its a really cute idea and agree with pp, as long as its not monogramed I think people would use it. One can never have too many towels.

how big of a towel? Sorry, I’m not familiar with the book/show/movie….whatever it is..  this might not be what you want to exactly hear, but i have lots of towels that i don’t use for shower use, but i use them for when i do crafts or what not. Or we have one we keep in our car for a “just in case.” So i think a towel is a nifty idea.

I think the towels would be cute, but I agree that they’d be very pricey. Maybe if you priced it out for him he’d realize that it’s unrealistic.

I don’t know much about the book, is there anything edible you could do to fit the theme?

I think that a towel that says “don’t panic” is brilliant. I love it when people really stick to a theme!!! I too agree with other posters.. not monogrammed.

You could always do a cookie that says “don’t panic” and you could even make it into a towel shape? That might be kind of expensive, but it would be a heck of a lot cheaper than monogrammed towels!

I like the towel idea.  They could get expensive but it would depend on the size of the bulk you are buying. The cookie idea is great too.  We are doing can coozies with a Jeep on it so I can feel you on having something unusual.

If you’re going the cookie route, it can be a round cookie with red icing that says ‘Don’t Panic’ (in yellow “large, friendly letters” of course). It would look just like the button!

If you want to convince your Fiance that the towels are a bad idea, why not show him exactly how much they will cost you, and then ask him what does HE think you guys should give up in order to pay for the towels? (assuming you guys are on a budget!)

What about peanuts and beer? You need that to get safely off earth too!

I like the towel idea though lol, even though it probably is kind of a waste of money.
