ask your parents to be specific in what they don’t like on the first one, then maybe you can edit it to inclue something that they are missing

I like the first one but would nix the “request the honor of your presence” line and replace it with something less formal so that the informality of the invite matches the wording. like, “ask you to join them”

Personally, I love the second one! But you go with what you like, I mean I know parents are important, but it’s YOUR wedding!

I really like the first one…but I don’t really care for the huge “you are invited” part… I think your names should be the part that stand out the most. Good luck!

I like the first one but agree with PP to keep it to two fonts.  You can’t appease everone when it comes to planning weddings (or so I have learned quickly in these past few months!).  Go with the style that makes YOU happy and proud of what you send out and give your parents their say in some other areas that may not break your bank 😉

I chose the third option because it has more detail. I hadn’t noticed it before but now I see what your mom meant, the word INVITED is bold and the font and dimensions are similar to the word WANTED in the wanted posters lol

Original. It is Your wedding afterall. Your parents already had theirs, it’s your turn now. Enjoy!

I LOVE #1- very similar to the look I’m designing for ours. #4 is also really pretty, but my 2nd fav. If you change the font on “Invited,” it will look less “wanted poster.” You didn’t mention what sort of paper you’re looking to print on- you can print on a paper with a little shimmer, or light color, that would soften it a bit.

Who is paying for the wedding/invites? That person should have the most say. I voted for #1.

I think your original is great, but I am bothered by the “You are Invitied ” followed by the your parents requesting the honor of their presence….  It’s redundant.   Perhaps keep that style but use different wording.

I like them, but I hate the small thin copperplate type…I’d make that one of the styles of the other typefaces. It also looks like the leading is off???

I think with some tidying they would be great!
