When I think of birds as a wedding theme I’d expect it to be a spring or summer wedding – but that’s just me, Perhaps go back to your inspriation and take a few things out or change to keep more in line with your theme

It’s easy to get caugh up in shopping and new inspirations.  I’d pull out the orginal ideas you had and EDIT the things that are making it out of control.  I fear this will be my problem too.  There’s always some good deals around and new things. Good Luck.

If your wedding were just a little earlier, I’d say keep the pinecones and scratch everything else new.  However, yours is in February, which is supposedly the end of winter and looking forward to the spring.  Scratch EVERYTHING new (hearts, red, birds, all of it), stick with what you had, and maybe, just MAYBE, try and find something that looks forward to the spring season.  Some bare branches with a few leaf buds as centerpieces could be lovely.

i think february is still winter – it going to be cold!

im getting married in february and i pikced my dress because i feel its kind of wintery.

i would scratch the birds but keep the burgandy and silver/gray going…i think that sounds pretty – if the hearts match the burgandy keep them too – tis the season for valetines 🙂 or get rid of the hearts and keep the pinecones – why not? maybe you can dust them in silver glitter to match your colors. i would try and limit your decor so it doesnt get too overwhelming. if you need pops of color use it in your linens and flowers.

Actually, having so many cool things to choose from is the easy part.  So, out of ALL those cool things, you need to pick and choose certain things that go together well.  Don’t base it off of “Oooooh, thats so cool I’d love for it to be apart of my wedding!”  Noooooooo, don’t do that!  You need to look at it differently!  You need to say “Wow, I love all this cool stuff, but this, this and this look amazing together!  I want all that!”

Bam, answer arrives.  lol

SN: I laughed a little at all the Feb. brides saying how its cold and considered winter.  And its all very true!!!  (I promise, I’m not laughing AT you, promise!)  I laugh because I’m a feb. bride and we’re doing a beach wedding with light, summer colors like pastel green and an aqua blue.  But, I live in FL – so the coldest it will get it 50 (and that’s cold for us!)  lol  But,it made me smile …. and smile again simply because its almost our time February bees!!!!!!

There are no birds where I live in winter – i’d start by scratching them off. Step back, use an editing eye.

I would definitely stick to your original plan.  Best of luck to you!
