For the blushing bride, why don’t you make it a dirty Shirley? Just vodka, sprite and grenadine… Especially since you already like grenadine and sprite.

@Kelshock:  We also thought about doing the something old, something new, etc. for the drinks, so I was super excited to find this thread.

Here’s all I could think of so far (it’s not much yet, lol)

Something old:  Wedding Bells (whiskey on the rocks – FI’s go to drink)

Something new: Blushing Bride (cranberry and vodka)

Something borrowed:  Screwdriver (OJ and vodka)

Something blue:

After talking about it more, we might skip it though and just go with a few cute named drinks.  Like each of us pick our fave drink and giving a wedding realted name.

Fiance would probably still be wedding bells for the whiskey on the rocks, but I don’t know what mine would be.  I love coke with whipped cream vodka, long islands, and tequila sunrises.  So I’m trying to come up with a good name for one of those.  Maybe the long island and somehow tying it in to our honeymoon since we are going to an island resort.

Anyway, We are having an open bar so I don’t know how popular our signature drinks would be, but I still think its very cute.

@Kelshock:  Thanks!  I actually came up with it on my own which kind of suprised me lol.  I told the fiance and he just gave me a funny look lol – he thinks I’m so cheesy.  πŸ™‚

I immediately thought of naming the Captain and Coke drink the “Tall, Dark, and Handsome,” but only works if your FH has dark hair lol

ETA: Wow, did not notice this was from 4 months ago, oops! Lol
