Are you doing a full mass? If not, you can open your search up to Deacons too.

Do you have a friend or family member that is a priest, or what about the priest for the church that you or your fiance grew up with that can say the mass for you?

The reason why you have a priest different than the priest’s whose home parish you are having your ceremony in, is because they have a close, personal relationship with the bride and/or groom—you and/or they want to be a part of your day. I am not sure someone other than that will be willing to travel to say your wedding. Even then, there is a lot of paperwork and redtape the visiting priest has to go through, so he can do the mass at a different church.

I don’t think that just because you can’t understand a priest will want to make a priest from another parish want to do this favor for you. Not to mention, it’s a lot of work for him too.

Where are you getting married? Can you just switch your ceremony to another parish?

Is he perhaps just impossible to understand over the phone? Sometimes electronic communication makes accents seem worse.

Total long shot, but what if you try calling the Catholic Philly newspaper and ask if they know of anyone who might be available? Or is there is a young Catholics group, try reaching out to them? I feel like a significant language barrier is a pretty valid reason for wanting to find someone different to say your mass.
