Okay so Fiance and I have butted heads a little on the reception. We kind of talked about it and we both understand each other but I’m not sure what the solution will be or how I can get Fiance to love it as much as me. We are getting married in our home church. He wants the ceremony AND the reception to be in the sanctuary. And was saying we would just have round tables set up already and there would be a center isle that way we don’t have to go through the hassle of going somewhere for the reception or renting out a venue. well that is NOT how I envisioned it at all and I explained to him that I think it would be awkward that way and I want to be able to walk out of the church married and be on our way to the reception and have the reception in a totally different unique atmosphere. and I explained that the reception is something that you have to make beautiful and make it spectacular and you don’t have to do that AS much in the ceremony because churches are naturally beautiful. Well he was saying he wants the ceremony to be wowing. And I agree with that. But there’s too different aspects of wow. The ceremony and the reception. If there’s one thing I hate it’s repetition and I want to walk into the reception with a different aspect of wow if that makes sense.. and the venue I want for the wedding is just beautiful here are some pictures to it. Maybe I’m just over reacting idk. Did anyone else have a similar problem? Or anyone have any ideas of how to deal with this? Lol. I want the wedding to be what we both want and I want to be able to compromise but you all know being girls that there’s some things that you just go crazy over. And certain ways you envision things and once you get that picture in your mind anything else is kinda a let down. Sorry for ranting lol.
