i am not a fan of colored sashes, but i love the dress.  what about a little colored cardigan?  that could look darling!

I love it too! What about those gloves that extend up the arm? I’m not sure what you call them, but they would look PERFECT with that dress & it would be so elegant! Or, like Ms. Meowerson said, a cardigan would look good as well!! 🙂

a red cardigan or red pashmina instead of the sash would look cute and cover your arms

What about a bolero? I don’t, I repeat, do NOT, want to turn this into a sales pitch, but I have THREE boleros (yes, went a little bolero crazy for my June wedding).  I actually love, love, love the look with many dresses.  So, they’re white — one is lace so that could be tough, one is satin, and one is organza (lined with organza so real shimmery).  I ended up wearing the lace one.  The other two are brand new and I had them made for me in Western Europe when I was there in March 2010.  If you’re interested, PM me.  Good luck in either case, but do consider a bolero from wherever you decide!

I have a cardigan to wear with my dress and I love it and I agree that would be a great way to go!

I second (or third, fourth, whatever we’re at) skipping the colored sash and getting a red cardigan instead.  Super cute with red shoes!  And your dress is gorgeous!

What about a really pretty lace bolero? It would go with the look of the dress, especially if you find lace that is a close match to your dress. One of the wedding bloggers had one to match her dress… I’ll try to find it.
