Okay. I have been with my fiance’ for over 6 years now. I’m a budget conscious kind of gal and far from what one would consider “high maintenance”. I don’t routinely have my hair, nails, feet, etc. done. If I get in the mood, I have about 50 bottles of polish and I do them myself. My wonderful fiance’ has always trimmed my hair for me. For 6 years now. He’s always done a great job. I have always worn it long. And I mean LONG…. So imagine my pain when he goes to trim my hair and I feel the first cut hit just at my neck. OUCH!!!! It was HORRIBLE. I have no idea what happened and neither does he. (At least, that’s his story…) I immediately tell him to stop but the damage is done. My best girl comes over the following day to try and help fix it. This happened on a Sunday and all the salons in my area are closed on Monday. I called in to work and she did a great job considering what she had (or didn’t have) to work with. My hair was about three to four inches from the small of my back and I already had in mind exactly what I would do with my hair on “the day”. Now, after almost three months of growth and nearly inches of hair lost, I’m at a complete loss for what to do with my hair. It’s straight and about the same length all around. I am not wearing a veil and had really wanted to go with a tiara or a really pretty sparkly hair decoration. Now I’m not so sure that is going to work. I would love for any of you to share pics of your hair on the big day, or even some photos that you may have used or are currently using for inspiration. And don’t worry… The soon to be mister can touch my heart, my soul, my body. But NEVER again my hair. Lol.
