I think I am agreeing with most of the posts on here, I definitely like it better without the lace! Of course its more importat that you do what makes you comfortable, but I really don’t think it is that revealing! It looks great in the first picture!! Good luck! =]

No lace! I think you look amazing!

I really like the first photo. I think the dress looks beautiful on you.

I like the first photo without the lace. It does not look too revealing or too much at all.

I hate to be the only naysayer here, but I skimmed first, and just looked at the pictures. The first one, my gut reaction was, “Ew. No.” Then I scrolled to the second and I was like, “Ah! Much better.”
When *everyone* disagreed with me, I went back to look, and what I think I’m really responding to is your posture. In the first, it looks like you’re slouching to keep your boobs in the dress. In the secound, it looks like you’re standing straight, proud, and confident.
If that’s just a fluke of the angles that two quick phone shots caught you at, then pick whichever option you prefer. If the cleavage option makes you feel like you need to slouch, and you find yourself standing like that regularly, please wear the extra lace. It doesn’t look bad, and a confident bearing will be far more noticeable on the day than whether your lace matches.

@moriah: +1! You took the words right out of my mouth! I actually thought, at first glance, the second picture was a different dress and I loved it so much more lol.
Oh, and OP, your necklace in the first picture is absolutely to die for! I love it!

the lace looks out of place, and almost like some sort of undergarment is showing, which is worse than cleavage. i think that amount of cleavage is still tasteful and even preferable to no hint whatsoever which would just look stiff.

definitely without the lace thing. i really don’t think too much is showing without it.
just so long as you are comfortable.

1st pic – definately!! think the lace distracts from the lovely detailing and sparkle on the sweetheart neckline. also LOVE the belt and necklace in the 1st pic. cleavage all the way!!x

Update: after trying it on again 6 times… 🙂 here’s my main concerning issue with wearing it as is…. I think my problem isn’t necessarily the amount of boob showing, it’s the fit. when I lift my arms it tends to come down, hence showing more boob. Haha. I definitely will be dancing and I don’t want to do an awkward arms down dance to keep my dress up. Either that or I need to eat 20 cheeseburgers 🙂
I went ahead and tea stained the lace bra and it actually looks pretty cool! My whole wedding vibe is vintage and antiquey so I think it wouldn’t be off my style. P.s. it is wet in the picture so it’ll dry a little lighter.
I agree with all of you on it’s ok to show tasteful cleavage, but my worry is it continuing to loosen with dancing.
the lady who remade my dress is coming over today to check it out and my booby concern 🙂
heres a pic of how tea staining darkened the white bandeau bra. If itll make me not worry all night, I may go with the second option. the sash I made has lace too so it would tie in.
thanks for all of the input ladies! 3 days!!! I’m crazy for attempting this , I realize this lol.
