Okay I am trying to get past my bias here from being anti-twilight.

I think with themes you want to have it there, but not in your face. Just understated.

Did you try putting pictures of the color, the apples and everything together to see how it all goes? The black I think will make it not “christmassy”. What color dresses are your maids wearing? Maybe red roses instead of apples?

Pinterest. have you joined it yet? Grab some of the images you are talking about and put them together on a board – like the colours and bridesmaid dresses and a red apple, and the types of accessories and decor. I think if you add a lot of ivory and black in and have smaller touches of the emerald green (like in the dress) and the ruby red it could work without being too Christmassy. Where are you holding the ceremony and reception?

Let me know if you need a Pinterest invite for it – I can send you one if you give your email address!

Okay so now I’m googling and there is quite a bit of this theme going on..just a few images I found that could work.

The deep emerald dress is for the bridesmaids? Like this one?

With those dresses and the other main color being “ruby red”, yea I do think that would look kinda Christmasy.

If your colors are ruby black and white, why are you having green dresses? I’m confused.

What does your dress look like, or have you bought it yet?

I feel like visually the red maid of honor and the green bridesmaids dresses may be Christmassy beside each other…but again, I’d have to see them side by side in photos, lol.

I think the colors will look great together and as long as you keep the red and green really deep, they won’t be Christmas-y. Just make sure you use lots of the ivory and black to help balance things out. Sounds amazing!
