Hello Bees! I’m still fairly new to this site but I’ve been reading ALOT of the post. I need help. I don’t know if this is completely normal. I can’t commit to a dress and I don’t know why. I just know I want to look stunning and want to make sure I’m not picking the wrong dress so please give me your opinion. And please be totally honest.
I’m having two gowns for my wedding b/c I’m really torn and it’s my only chance I can be a princess in a ballgown and have a beautifully fitted dress. My reception dress will be an Allure fitted gown. I LOVE it. I like the ruffles and I like how it’s plain (no bead work on top exept belt). This dress I’m getting for sure.
Now the problem, my ceremony dress. I want a beaded bodice ballgown. Ceremony will be outdoors at a golf course. My original theme was fairy tale and I was going to have a horse drawn carriage but venue site changed but or course I still want a fairytale wedding. Here’s the AA Belle dress. I like it A LOT. I don’t know why I can’t say I love it. I want to make sure it’s the one. Can you please tell me what you think of this dress on me PLEASE! Thank you!

I’m sorry but my jaw just dropped to the floor when I saw you in the first dress. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more stunning than the 2nd dress. IF you are going to have 2 dresses, the ceremony dress has to be as stunning as the reception dress. I saw the Belle and said to myself “Eh, it’s okay.” IMO, I would just have one dress, the first one. I don’t think you will be able to top that.

I love the Allure on you, but I’m not crazy about the Belle dress. I know you said you want to wear a princessy ball gown, but that Allure looks so damn amazing that I think you should wear the hell out of that one dress as much as you can!

@pinkshoes: Thank you! I totally get what you mean. I contemplated on just wearing the Allure ALL day as well. Do you think it’s too plain tho?

@lindseyl06: awww thank you sooo much! I put the Allure on and I really just love it =)

The first dress did look absolutely stunning and your wore it perfectly. But the second dress doesn’t have that WOW factor. It doesn’t look like it does anything for you. Sorry.

@ssan129: Girl you need to weare that allure all day and night. It’s Gorgeous on you and not plain at all. You look stunning in it. The AA dress is just okay allure is “BANM!! Vavavhoom here comes the bride and yeap keep starring” 🙂

I say DON’T keep looking, just wear the first dress for both ceremony and reception. It’s AMAZING.

@ssan129: Your welcome and uh, I know you’re not asking if that dress is too plain! Sweetie, that dress is anything but plain and YOU make it look that way! My dress is a bit understated like that too but I think it’s anything but plain. It may seem like that on the hanger, but when you put the dress on, YOU give the dress life and character and personality.

I totally agree with what has been said. The first dress is so amazing that the second one pales by comparison. I think if you’re going to do two dresses you will have to find something to top the first one…

I agree with the other bees that you could very easily just rock the Allure for both wedding ceremony and reception, but if there is a reason you want a ball gown, I would strongly suggest against the AA. Considering how many AMAZING ball gowns there are out there, this one just doesn’t manage to impress. It is lacking in several departments and I’m not sure of your budget, but if you love your Allure, maybe try them for a ball gown? They have several great options through their Couture line. If it’s bling or just that WOW factor you are after, Allure Couture will not disappoint. You can decide on a dress because you have decided on one already. The AA is obviously not selling you and for good reason. Maybe try on a variety of ball gowns and post another poll for feedback? Even include the Belle in the poll, if you are still considering it. Best of luck!

Honestly, I don’t think the Belle dress looks good on anyone.
Dress #1 looks fantastic on you. There’s absolutely no reason to buy a second dress when you have already found one that is so rockin’.

@lilone4403: Thank you so much for your compliment and your helpful advice
@malouloune: Hey I know how to do mulitple replies in one comment. Whoa! okay sorry side tracked. Awww thank you so much. I feel like that is the consesus and I really am reconsidering just doing Allure all day. Your comments are so funny but those are exactly what I want from my guest. Thank you!
@mchitt329: Will consider that. Thank you!
@lindseyl06: Lidnsey you are SOOOO sweet and you are making me feel sooooo excited right now. I really just want to wow on that day and you totally make me feel like I can do that with the allure. THANK YOU so much for your kind words
@talljabride: makes total sense. Thank you. I got time right? Maybe I’ll raid another few bridal salons eh? 😉

first dress is stunning, the second dress does nothing for me personally and if you’re going with the first for the ceremony, you need an equally amazing dress for the reception!

You look pretty in both, but I don’t like either. The second would be ok without the draping in front.
