@fabulousbee: I love both of them, and you’d look sensational in either of them so it’s really your venue type that’s swaying my decision.
I like the first dress better; the skirt and lace detail on the bottom of the second one makes the dress look a bit too “princessy”/formal for the type of wedding you’re having… plus the hem of the first dress looks like it would pick up less sand if you plan on doing photos on the beach afterwards!
You really do look great in both, so if it’s looks you’re worried about, I don’t think you can go wrong with either of these.

@clairebbbear: Thanks for the compliment! yes the first dress is from DB, the other one is from a small boutique store. With the mermaid style, i don’t like the ones with the ruffle skirts, i dont know why…I tend to be a little self conscious about my booty lol, i feel like i dont need much attention in that area lol. I agree with you about the structure, i like those..so i was excited for the zac posen collection at DB cos his styles are structured and dont have the dramatic skirts…i was hoping to try on the first dress you have there, but they didn’t have it at the store. apparently his collection is in limited locations. so that’s a bummer :/ Thanks for your suggestions! I will have to some searching for structured dresses that will be appropriate for our location. Ah i’m running out of time!

option one is beautiful on you and it doesn’t have to be altered as much. the problem with altering dresses 2-3 sizes i think it changes the look of the dress.

don’t wanna have dress regret so I’m gonna keep looking. visiting nyc next week for 2 days so im gonna check out a few stores and post an update if i find other dresses that I like better! if not, i’ll probably go with dress 1…i tried them both again and I felt beautiful in both…but dress 1 was more comfortable and doesnt need as much alterations. Thanks all for your suggestions!
