The venue is on a resort with a lake as a backdrop for the ceremony which will be outside while reception is inside. It will be very formal(think traditional and elegant) and the bridal party will be wearing long dresses(not sure if this matters). It will be in the Spring and I know that Gold is definitely one of my colors and i love orange and pink so i was thinking pink, orange and gold but i feel like i should do something different. I also like purple(not dark shades) and Fiance likes navy(which i think is too dark for spring and we’re not doing a nautical theme or any theme for that matter).
Can you guys please suggest some unique color combos that work with gold? I also want to say that im darker toned while Fiance is pale and our wedding party are all different shades so i dont want a color that might wash out the pale ones or look blah on the darker ones. Something that compliments all skin tones. This is harder than i expected it to be.

purrrbaby: Becausecof the colours you said you like and it will be Spring, how about blush, coral and gold? Your BMs could wear blush as it’s more forgiving against most skin tones than what coral would be. Groomsman could wear a gold coloured tie complimenting the blush Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and you could have splashes of coral or as he likes navy they could wear navy suits but then wear a coral tie which would pop against the navy.

When I think spring, I think of lilacs. Lilac/lavendar would love great with gold, splashes of coral too
