So I finally settled on a bridal shower dress, but now I need a belt! I only have two weeks left before the bridal shower so I have to place the order ASAP.
Which one should I go for bees?
My main concern is that I’ll also be wearing a ribbon for my wedding dress so I didn’t want to look like I have an obsession with ribbons. So I’m avoiding any blingly beaded kind of ribbon since that’s what my wedding dress will have. (I’ll also be wearing the wedding belt for my reception dress.) But I do want some kind of belt to give more definition and separation for my waist.
Most likely will go for champagne since it seems to match the dress.
Any input would be most appreciated! I have to decide by today. 🙁
(I’m also open to other belt suggestions, but I live in Canada and I don’t want to spend more than $50 on a belt.)

I like the flowery one in the bottom left. Or you could just go shopping and spend less on the belt than a custom order at Etsy? $50 seems like a lot but that’s just me.

Oh the belts on Etsy are $36-40 before shipping. I’ll be going to the mall too today, but I’ve been going to the mall for weeks now and I can’t seem to find any I like.
I am also of the thought that maybe if I get a thin shiny one, then it’ll look different from my wedding belt so it won’t be so bad. I like the idea of ribbons trailing down behind me, but I feel like maybe I should save that look for my wedding day.
Here’s the wedding belt just in case it’s useful:

i don’t like it. I would definitely leave the sashes for wedding day!
I think a thin sparkly blingy one would be cute with your dress.

I’ll keep my eye out for a thin sparkly blingly one at the mall~
I feel a lot more confident shopping at the mall because at least I can go home, put it on, and if it doesn’t work out, just return it. Etsy returns are a bit more difficult. I wish things online were actually available in stores. :S

I like option 2 better because it is more different from your wedding look and I think it goes nicely with the style of your shower dress. I also think though that a plain ribbon (maybe ivory, blush, or a bright color) would make a really nice sash for that dress.

I think option one is more in style!

I’d say go for a thin one from the mall . It is only a shower dress after all, no need to break the bank. But if that is not an issue then the second flowery option is very sweet.
