@chica95110:  I actually worked with a local jeweler to customize my engagement ring and my fiance is working with the same jeweler to create a right-hand ring for me. Etsy also has some interesting colored gemstone rings available and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with most Etsy sellers. Any clue what kind of stone you’re leaning towards?

I just found this on style me pretty the other day and immediately pinned it.  I have never seen anything like it.  I don’t knwo where it is from but I am sure you can get it custom made with stones to your liking.

@chica95110:  This is a ring I have had bookmarked on etsy for a while. It comes in white gold and I spoke to Jessica at the shop when I asked if the stone colour could be changed as well and she said it could no problem. It’s called the Thorn Ring, which kind of has a medieval ring to it. I just love it! Here’s the link:

I worked with a local jewler to get my wedding band made.  It was actually easier than I thought it would be!  Look into smaller local jewlers that specialize in custom jewelry.
