I think the dress is beautiful on you! Don’t let any negative responses get the best of you. After all this is your wedding, not anyone else’s!

I think if you have a dress and you loved it when you tried it on then stick with it. Your husband isn’t going to care what dress your friends thought was prettier, he will only care that you love your dress and you feel and look beautiful.

I think that dress is lovely on you. and not seeing the other dress I don’t know for comparison, but It is beautiful and it seems to show off your curves perfectly. Keep it.

It’s a very pretty dress. What is there NOT to be happy about?

I like the dress and I like it on you. Go with your heart and what makes YOU feel good. I made the mistake and I picked a dress my family liked and i regretted it and I went back and got the dress I wanted.

What matters is how you feel in it and what you think of the dress. I think you look awesome in it.

I think thats a very classy, elegant ball gown! No one else can tell you  its “your dress”, its for you to pick 😉

You can’t please everyone.  We all have different opinions on what’s ‘prettier’.  That’s why there are thousands of dresses to choose from.

your quote – I did end up purchasing the Maggie Sottero dress and I have been happy with my choice… is really the only thing that matters

That being said, I think it’s a beautiful dress!

Those girls are so inconsiderate of your feelings that it makes me mad reading your post.

Some people suck. You look great and love your dress and those girls should keep their opinions where they belong –to themselves. We should start a poll for this. We should poll where these negative dress comments are coming from. My guess that it comes from someone who have never been a bride, or someone who is jealous and spiteful.

Sorry, more to add. After I hit submit I had to make this addendum.
It would be one thing if fat rolls or too much boobs hanging out was occurring for comments to be made (of which should be approached delicately).. but you look great in it. I think other ppl want to live vicariously through oher brides or something.

I wouldn’t listen to them. I know how stressful it is when you think one thing, and other people are telling you something else. You shouldn’t doubt your choice though. Besides, even though a dress might seem objectively prettier to someone, doesn’t mean that a) it’s prettier to you or b) that it looks as good on you and brings out YOUR prettiness. Put that regret away and walk proud in your beautiful gown!
