Fiance and I are going to be married on Signal Hill then we are having a house party at about 8pm and want to do a spread of food for guests.
We are in Ontario until the day before the wedding and so we want to make this as easy as possible on Brother-In-Law and SIL who are officially throwing the house party.
I need ANY catering ideas for how to put this spread together. Near Mount Pearl/Paradise area. Interweb not being very helpful.

I no longer live in NL (we moved to NS last year for FI’s work), but lived there for a long time so I was excited to see your post! Signal Hill is a great spot to get married. Expect a lot of wind though haha. In terms of catering there is The Hub which I haven’t personally used but seems to be the most used company. I believe they service the Mt. Pearl/Paradise area. http://hubstjohns.com/catering/index.html#
Sobeys also has a sort of catering option as well as funny as that might sound. I believe the do cheese, meet, veggie, fruit, and sandwich trays.
I hope I helped! Visit George street for me while you’re there haha

Hi there! I have never used the services of a caterer, so I can only be of limited help, but I have heard lots of buzz about Taste of Class! I think they are supposed to be pretty good, and will work with you to create the exact type of function you want. Here’s their website:
Hope this helps! 🙂 Good luck!
ETA (Edited to Add): They have menus specifically created for “cocktail party” type spreads, which seems to be in the ballpark of what you might be looking for!

@ButtercupBetty: Oh thanks for replying! I’ve been looking…actually found out about the Sobey’s and the hub but was hoping for an inside scoop. We were going to make the George Street Festival for our honeymoon, but we’re opting to go up to Gros Morne instead! Love it there…hopefully we’ll move there some day.
