Hi! I have never purchased a dress from the store but as I’m looking for a dress to fit my budget too, I received an email from a store that really looks good, they even send me pictures of the dresses and they look very good! high quality, nice price, so if you want to I can send you their email by inbox (:

Good luck!

Have you tried googling reviews? Usually if a website is ripping people off there are tons of bad reviews on the interwebs!

I ended up buying a replica dress from Coral’s bridal and had a great experience. I did an in-depth post a while back.

Anyhow, I don’t know much about this website in particular. Some of them are great and others are scams. It’s always a bit of a risk.

A lot of other bees have reviewed Jasmine’s bridal and dressilyme positively.

If you can’t find much info on this site, look around! There are some very cheap, very good sites out there. If you can’t find the dress you want, some of them will make it custom from a picture.

If you’re in Florida, you should definitely look into Brides Against Breast Cancer as an option for wedding dress shopping. They do events all over the country, but they are based in FL and seem to have quite a few events there.

They are *great* if you are an open-minded bride who maybe has a few ideas about what you’d like in a dress, but are willing to go see what they have, try a bunch of gowns on, and consider possibilities. Many of their dresses are pre-owned, but they also have new, never-worn gowns donated by salons and designers. They are also really wonderful to work with – very helpful and supportive.

The drawbacks, of course, are that if you find something you like, you need to make whatever size or color they have work for you, you can’t just order in a different size/color. And for brides who have their hearts set on a very specific gown or style, they may not have something on hand in your size. Check them out, though – you can get a fantastic gown at a fantastic price, and the money you do spend goes toward a good cause.

I just did a crap ton of research on this. tbdress had aweful reviews. (Type tbdress in the search box here at wedding bee and you’ll see people’s aweful experiences. One even had a burn hole from an iron!)

If you’re going to go with a knock off dress, I’d recommend (based on a TON of research) jasmines bridal or dressilyme. After looking at the options available for plus size brides and the price of what those would come to after a plus size up charge, I decided just to spend a few hundred more and order my dream gown from the store. I hope you find something that works well for you!!

Hi!  I have not heard of the above site, but I would recommend emailing them a few different times with a few different questions, and also request to see some pictures of their own work.  You’ll be able to tell a bit how responsive they are, and see the quality of their dresses…it should help you get a little better feel.

I ordered online from BigDayDress.net or BigDayDress.com and had a great experience.  The big thing I would say, is realize that if you order a replica, your dress will not be the exact same.  However, they did a pretty good job in my opinion. 🙂

Here’s the dress I wanted ($3500 Priscilla of Boston on different bride):

Here’s my replica the day it came (right out of box so it needs a few alterations/ironing):

Good luck!!!

Just a tip, DO NOT buy anything from ‘reallycheapdress.com’ or any other website which has the same pictures on. I ordered a gorgeous bridesmaid dress from here (thank god I only ordered 1 to see if it was ok before I ordered the other 2) and it was awful. It didn’t fit even though we gave exact measurements, it didn’t look anything like the picture and it had what I can only describe as 20 pin pricks across the top. I tried to return it but then they claimed that we had to send returns to this other company (obviously they said they weren’t involved either) and eventually stopped replaying to me. What a waste ot £135!!

Wow that site looks like a site I have been checking out. It is definitely cheaper than jasmines but i will probably not miss an extra $200 if it didnt work out and i had to find something else really quickly. I agree with the other bees and will probably buy a replica from jasmines or dressilyme. But good luck!!!!

I ordered my dress from bigdaydress.net and its exactly what I wanted! I was just like you, on a budget and my dream dress is about $1000 more than I wanted to spend in a salon so I just happened upon this website. The dress shipped faster than they said and fits almost perfectly (I’ve lost weight since I ordered it so it was a little big when I got it) and is beautiful. My only complaint is the zipper on the dress bag broke the first day I had it but if thats my only problem I’m happy 🙂 Good luck looking!
