I’m getting married in October and am having a really hard time deciding what to do re veil and hair styling. The dress is the WTOO Naomi with a really sheer back and is ivory with a blush undertone.
I’m thinking I’ll probably where my hair up to accentuate the back but haven’t decided yet whether to do a sleek, messy, romantic or side swept style.
Additionally, I’m having a really hard time deciding whether to do a veil and if so, what type. My Maid/Matron of Honor is really pro veil and suggest a chapel length that is really light and sheer so that the back can be seen. Because the dress is embellished with little crystals, I’m not sure if that should be carried through the veil. I’ve also tried finger length and toyed with hairbands but just can’t decide!
What would you do if you were wearing this dress?

Hair down, chapel length veil. Your dress is to die for, by the way!

You look SO beautiful! Your dress is a dream. I think hair down and chapel length veil is the way to go.

The chapel-length veil is perfection! I think the crystals on the fingertip veil distract from the beauty of your dress. Your hair is so pretty down that I’d wear it that way.

Thank you all so much! That’s soooo interesting as most people who see the dress say hair up so that the back is on show but that’s three of you in a row who vote hair down 🙂
Yes, the crysals probably are a little distracting when I look at it again…

For your hair, I would keep it down but put in some curls and hair accessories comb/vine. Also I think the longer veil with horsehair is amazing! The shorter one just doesn’t do your look justice. Since your back is sheer, but also not detailed i think the hair down works, and does not cover anything up, very romantic.

I vote hair up (with lots of volume) and finger length veil! 🙂

I say hair up and NO veil. Some beautiful sparkles in your hair, like this for example.
Do you feel “bridal” without a veil? I think the dress is stand-alone-stunning. But if you feel incomplete, then the long veil works better than the fingertip. IMHO
