So I’ve fallen in love with a different dress. Good news is the store will let me exchange. The bad news is I didnt really get to see the dress on me because they didnt have my size.
Heres the new dress on the sales associate. Doesnt help much because shes a lot smaller than me, but that’s all I have :
Heres me in a similar silhouette, same designer:
And heres my old dress:
Which one should I choose?!

I like the new dress because I think ivory looks nicer and softer on you than stark white.

New dress! New dress! New dress!
All the way darlin.

New dress. The old one does absolutely nothing for you and makes you look bigger than you are. The new one is so much more flattering and gives you a great figure.

Both are gorgeous but I love the new dress! You’re really lucky they will let you exchange your dress!

New dress. Not a fan of the first dress’ silhouette on you.

New dress definitely. The cut is much more flattering as it shows off your waist (I feel the old dress swamped you a little bit). I also agree with missyjz that ivory suits your skin tone better than the white. New dress looks awesome 🙂

Another vote for the new dress. The waistline is very flattering and I’m a sucker for beading!

The new one. I typically like plain dresses better, but the cut of the (similar to) new dress on you is so stunning and really gives you a lovely feminine hourglass shape, whereas the old one is a bit boxy.

I love them both and both really look nice on you. I think the new dress fits the “old hollywood” theme you are going for. Plus, I know you were feeling insecure in the old dress…I would exchange it.
Just, after you do the exchange, remember that dresses are like men, there will always be another good man and another beautiful dress, you’ve got to find one of each you love and commit to them both.
