Our 2 flowergirls are Mr. Hot Sauce’s 2 nieces. They are about 6 and 8 yrs old. I wanted to get them charm bracelets with a charme saying “thanks for being our flowergirl” with their name from Things remembered. The thing is should I try to find a child sized charm bracelet or do you think the normal sized one is ok? The issue I have with the child sized one is what if we start the trend of the charms and they want to wear as they get older in to their teen years to remember certain events in their life. That is what a charm bracelet is for right? So if I get them a child sized one, they will out grow it vs. if I get them a regular adult sized, then they can wear it when they do get older and it means more to them. What do you think hive?

You could probably get away with an adult size, especially if it’s one of those adjustable ones. My daughters (6 and 9) have several bracelets in adult size. They mainly use them for dress up now, but they’ll fit eventually.

are there any that links can be taken of and added back on in a few years?

Like heathaah said, I’d go with one that you can add to or remove links from.

I think an adult one is fine. A charm bracelet can hook onto any of the rings, so it could be sized down to sort of fit now, and it would fit always.

@snmcdowell – I hadn’t thought of that. That is very true.

I think for my Flower Girl, she’s in LOVE with Build-A-Bear so I think I’ll take her there so she can make her own bear.
