@worriedconfusedbride:  Paolo Sebastion dresses are high end. I would guess that the skirt is silk chiffon, the bodice silk illusion netting with Swarofski crystals, satin waistband.

This is not a dress I would have made by a replica dress maker in China. I think you would be terribly disappointed with the quality of the beadwork and fabric.

If you’re working face-to-face with a real, live seamstress, then I would start by just showing her the picture and getting her input. It’s ultimately more important that you guys choose a fabric that will look good and that she is comfortable working with, than that you exactly match the fabric used in the original gown.
