Hi! I’m in love with this dress but am unsure if it’s flattering. My mom and friends all say its wonderful and they love it and my mom even cried. I’m just concerned aobut my stomach area being accentuated. I need some unbiased, objective advice!!!

It fits over your tummy and hips with no lumps or bumps. It is a gorgeous dress and you are drop dead beautiful in it! It fits you perfect! Own it girl!!!

It’s a beautiful dress but these pictures are taken at a high angle which can be deceiving as to the way it actually looks. You won’t have pictures from this angle on your wedding day.

rayfrancis99: It’s a really pretty dress, but you’re right, probably not the most flattering. However, if you love the dress who cares? Get some really good shapewear and rock it.
Also, I assure you that on your wedding day your Darling Husband will not be looking at your tummy in that dress. You’ve got a killer hourglass in that!

I think it’s gorgeous and you look just beautiful in it!

Oh hell yea!! Very 1940’s glamour with that hourglass shape of yours!! Love it!

I love the dress. Just wear some shaping underwear to smooth the bumps where needed.

Looks beautiful on you. Really good around the bustline/shoulder area. If you feel self conscious about your tummy area then order a big bouquet!

It looks gorgeous. Rock the Spanx lady! I wear them to every dress appointment haha.

um, I LOVE IT. And love it on you!

I think you look great!! I don’t see any problem with the stomach area, at least not on the pictures. That dress is beautiful!!

You look gorgeous! I don’t see any stomach-area issues, but I know these things are subjective; we see “flaws” in ourselves that are literally non-existent in the eyes of others. If you want to feel better, maybe get a corset-type undergarment. I had one – I thought I looked WAY better with it, but no one else could notice a difference. But I felt more beautiful so it worked!

Thank you ladies for the comments. You’ve made me feel so wonderful about myself and the choice. I was thinking of just having a corset type undergarment under it to hold in that area. Thanks fellow Bee’s , I feel really special 🙂

I love the dress and it may just be the angle but it is a bit low cut on the bustline for a wedding dress. I would make sure it is adjusted slightly higher. But not unflattering! 🙂

Girl, you’ve got an awesome body. Throw on some spanx and you’re good to go! (sidenote: even size 2 girls can benefit from shapewear so don’t take that suggestion as an insult).
I will just say this: if you feel self conscious in it, please consider finding a dress that you won’t *worry* about all night. I tried on some form fitting dresses that made my mom and sister’s jaws drop. I’m a size 4 but I just felt so exposed in the tighter dresses and I knew I’d be nervous and uncomfortable about it all day on my wedding. Once I put on an a-line, I felt much more comfortable. You’re going to have a lot of people looking at you that day so you want to be wearing something you’re confident in.
However, if you love this dress then it’s a thumbs up from me because it is very pretty. I just want you to feel completely comfortable and confident on your wedding day.
