I have absolutely fallen in love with the Aurelie gown by Maggie Sottero. I tried the sample on in Gold and was just stunned by how gorgeous and coture it looked. I had never planned on getting a gold dress but I just don’t think it compares in white or Ivory- the color really makes this dress.
My wedding is in May and my colors are pink, champagne, and ivory. I plan to have my bridesmaids wear a pale rose pink and carry champagne roses. Do you think it would be ok if I wore the gold dress and carried pale pink roses or peonies? I definetly don’t want to clash and in my head I think it’s going to look nice but my mom and sister said it would be way too much? I held a pale pink bridesmaids dress up to the sample gown in the salon and liked it but I’m just not sure now that my head has been filled with doubt.
What do you ladies thinks?
here is a link to the gown so you can see the gold color: http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?keywordText=aurelie&keywordType=any&page=0&pageSize=15&style=A3225

i think that would be a gorgeous color scheme. I might use more ivory and pink flowers and keep the gold as an accent since your dress will be the main focal point of the pictures and what not.

I agree it would make a lovely color scheme.

We have the same color scheme. My dress is champagne and ivory and my girls will be in a pale pink. I don’t think its too much at all. The dress is absolutly beautiful. Go with your intial feelings because those feelings always seem to be right.
