So my Fiance and I registered at BB&B and Amazon.com. We love both places and are happy with our choices. The issue is that our hometown where the wedding will be doesn’t have a BB&B. His sister suggested we register at Target, but we really feel like Target is a lower-quality version of BB&B…
SO! We decided to register at Pier 1! We both LOVE the store. The problem is that when we went in there, they said they don’t do registries because of merchendise turnover.
It’s really the place we want to register from, and want to put it on our registery with the thought being that you could buy us anything from there and we’d be happy campers:) Would that just be too confusing? We could put a blurb about it in the FAQ of our wedding website.,..

It depends on the culture where you live, but we registered at Target and Amazon and had a wedding in our hometoom (a plane ride away from where we live). There is a Target on the Island, but fairly far away, but everyone who bought off the registry just had our gifts shipped to us. One issue we had was that one gift needed someone to sign for it, but of course we were gone so it was a big hastle figuring that out. If you aren’t going to be gone for over a month like we were it might not be a problem, but you might want to have gifts sent to a close friend who is local?

You could just keep your two choices, or pick/add on another store.

Amazon lets you add items from other stores – why not add Pier 1 stuff to it?

If you can’t set up an actual registry at the store, I wouldn’t put anything about it. Like a PP said, maybe at PIer 1 stuff to your Amazon registry, or just Pier 1 giftcards?

You can add it to your Amazon registry! Amazon has a universal gift registry option, this way all your amazon items and pier 1 items will all be on one site.

Most of our guests either purchased gifts online (even though we had a BB&B and Macy’s in town) that were shipped to us prior to the wedding or gave cash. We had very few people bring a gift to the reception.

We are going register with Amazon and have lucky envelopes for people if they want to gift us cash.
