How long have you been together and how much did you guys have sex when you were at your peek? I feel like it’s hard to give advice without knowing your personal dynamic.

brideandblue : When did you start noticing things tapering off?

brideandblue :  That definitely seems like it would contribute. Mismatched schedules make intimacy really hard, plus if one of you is exhausted you’re definitely not going to want sex.

Have you talked to your fiance about this yet?

brideandblue :  It really sounds like it’s a combination of very little time and exhaustion. I very much doubt it has anything to do with if you’ve gained weight.

Maybe try scheduling some time to set aside for sex? 2 or 3 days a week you can designate as sex days. I know it’s not exactly sexy to put “have sex” on the calendar, but if it’s been going on this long, it might partially just be a drop in libido since you’re both kind of “used” to not getting laid as often. Maybe scheduling it more often will help things pick back up.

brideandblue :  You could always shower together, get things started that way. Just a personal preference.
