Hmmm… That’s intersting, I’ve never heard of that.  You’re not getting any links when you go in through different browsers typing in your address???  I’m not sure what do say about is execpt maybe just delete the sentence if that’s the only place your aunt is getting the links.

Good Luck!

If it’s a free website, they have the right to advertise, so there’s not a whole lot you can do. I wouldn’t be embarrassed as peoplek now that.

I second PP’s advice. If that’s the only place you find advertising, maybe remove that “key word” from the sentence.

I know my parents have an annoying version of Internet Explorer that immediately does this – its like aplug in, and it highlights words on any random page to be links.  No idea if this is the same issue or not.

Have you signed out of the knot, and looked at your wedding website in different browsers?

oh no… maybe upgrade to the paid website??  I have no idea why it would only be happening to her.  So weird.  Trying calling a friend or two to see if they’re having the same problem.  Good Luck!

I know that you already have your website and it’s probably too late to switch but I had a lot of problems with the Knot.  So much so I logged on and everything I had written in it had been deleted and when I contacted them they had no idea what happened.  A lot of my friends have complained that it was hard to navigate.  I switched to Weddingwire after that.  I don’t know if it’s too late to take your info and transfer it to a new site.  It might be a pain if everyone already has that site to get their info.  I’m just not a big fan of their site.  There are a ton of bugs everytime I use just the general site.  You’d think it would be more user-friendly and better run for as big as a reputation they have.

Thank you for this info. I am off to check out wedding wire and after hearing all of this will not be creating my website with the knot
