Hey, I’m so sorry to hear about all of this, SoontobeMrsA! I just lost my job, so I’m in a crappy financial state, but I have tons of time. If you need signs or table names or anything calligraphied, I can help out with that (anything but envelopes, please! I’m avoiding my own like the plague, lol!).

I’ll help. I work from home so I have oodles of free time. I’m not super crafty, but if it’s something that is tedious and takes a lot of time count me in!

@SoontobeMrsA: Hey I do photography and I’m trying to get into weddings. I would love to do yours. I live in Virginia so I’m sure my flight would be super cheap. I also designed my invitation suite (and one for a close friend) so I can definitely help you out on those if you’re interested.

I highly recommend playing with Style Shake to see if you could put together a dress.

They have a design studio online where you pick the style you want for each part (Bodice style, waistband, skirt, sleeves, etc) and then they make it to measure and send it to you in less than 2 weeks.

Best part- They’re under $200.

At the very least, you might come up with a fun reception dress πŸ™‚

Also, let me know if there are any specific projects you’re wanting help making or need supplies for. As I said before, I’m happy to help!

I can do laser cut props (at least until August… when we move, not sure that I’ll still have access to one), I sew, I love making fabric and paper flowers, and I’ve interned at Anthro- if you have some specific decor idea you want to have come to fruition (even if it is some crazy huge installment), let me know and I can either help make parts of it from afar or at least give you tips on how to build it πŸ™‚

@SoontobeMrsA: I’ve got my bridal shower today, but tomorrow while I’m bored at work I’ll get some ideas together and PM you. πŸ™‚

Is there anything in particular you REALLY want to make sure you have? Arch or Chuppah, Photobooth, etc?

If you have something you know you want, I’ll make sure I don’t skip over it while I’m looking for ideas πŸ™‚

I live in MA and for the most part I’m home with my daughter (I work like 2 days a week) so I have some time on my hands. I took a candy making class a few years ago and have been known to make some really good candy apples, salt water taffy and “tree bark” candy as well as pink teaberry popcorn. These are all classic old fashioned carnival treats, so if this is something you’d want at your reception holla at Mrs. KatyElle over here and I’ll see what I can do πŸ™‚

I just have to say that this is the nicest thing I’ve seen people do in a while!

@SoontobeMrsA:  I live in Northern RI, I’d be more than willing to help out on the day of as well if you need people!  It’d just be a short drive for me πŸ™‚  I’m sure I can get a few friends to help out too if you need more people!  I’m still in the beginning stages of planning, so I’m not sure what decor I’d have left over to help out since I’m not entirely sure of the direction I want my wedding to go, but if I have stuff I’d be more than willing to let you have it after my wedding!

Also, my mother works for a restaurant supply company, so if you need bulk stuff like napkins, plates, or utensils (they’d have to be paper or plastic though) I can probably get you a good deal!

I am in to help. I love crafting projects, just tell me what you need. I also have experience in floral design so if you need silks arranged, I will do it. All I would need is silks or paper flowers or what not sent to me and I’ll put them together for you!! I was so sad when I saw the post about postponing, but super happy that I can help!!
