@mikaylav3: YES! If your mom can help with paper goods that’d be a huge step forward! And the company I work for has a large need for paper goods as well so maybe we can throw her some extra business too.

And if you want to help the day of you would be more than welcome πŸ™‚

Thank you so much everyone πŸ™‚ You have no idea how much this all means to me.

@SoontobeMrsA: Ok I was constructing a response to this until I saw you’ll be getting married in Bristol, NH!? I grew up/parents still live about 15 or so minutes away from Bristol in Grafton. Soooo crazy! Anyway, I love this idea of helping you out! I am not sure of tent rentals but I have a friend who lived the next town over from Bristol who got married at her house and they had a tent. I will try to remember to ask her where she rented from. If you need any local information, my friends and family all still live in the area so let me know and I can ask them for info. This is all so very exciting! If you need extra hands, I can drop off my son at my parents and head over the day of as well. The wedding WILL go on! πŸ™‚

Well, Like I said before, I’m offering up making you hair accessories, jewelry, and a sweet custom little cake topper. I’d also be willing to design you some invites, if you’d like. I’d offer my wedding dress, but I dont know that’t you’d be able to alter it that small (I’m 5’7 and a size 12). BUT, I think we could maybe work something out if you would possibly want one made? In that kind of scenario, I’d probably just ask you to pay for the materials. That’s something we’ll have to talk about after I move though, I know Im not going to have time to do that until Im in England. Also, I’d be willing to make some flags or maybe that bunting garland (that seems pretty carnival-y to me) for decor?

Pics of the stuff I made for us:

My necklace and it has a mayching bracelet(sorry, crappy pic)

My hair flower

These are the invites I designed for us

Our cardbox

AND, both cake toppers (I could totally make people too)

Oh, and the bridesmaid dresses that my mother and I made (they were our own copy of the twobirds convertible dresses made from a vintage pattern)

Hey! I haven’t posted anything before but I’ve been reading all about this carnival wedding. I’m actually in the middle of putting together a carnival/circus birthday for my husband. So I might have some stuff I could donate afterwards depending on your colors and all that. I’m using mostly aqua and red. I’m making red/white stripe table runners, if you’re interested in those.

I could also possibly help with some invites. I made my own for my husband’s party and i could share those with you and then we could try to design something together from there?

I’m also an incredibly talented bargain hunter. So if you let me know specific things you’re looking for, I can usually (with enough time) find them for cheaper than anticipated.

Plus you’re from New England, where I grew up, so you know I wanna help πŸ™‚

pm me with your e-mail address and we can start to work on some stuff?

@SoontobeMrsA: It just so happens that I can’t wear my original dress. My measurements for that dress are 35-28-free hip. I can sent you pictures. It has bunting-style beading. I can’t wear it, so you might as well! I also am having yard games at the reception. I will have cornhole, croquet, bocce ball, ladder golf, etc. I’ll have those you could have.

I’m sorry your wedding is being postponed but am I to seriously understand that everyone is sending you stuff because you bought a HOUSE?  My Fiance and I am struggling to pay for a wedding that is on our BUDGET and we rent a small apartment.  Are all the bees going to chip in and help us because we can’t have our dream wedding?  There are people out there with real problems and not being about to afford a carnival wedding is not a real one.  Thousands of people were killed and injured just days ago in one of the worst natural disasters in modern history, that is a real problem.

I could certainly make a hair flower or some crafty items if you need!  I’m also looking to get into wedding photography, so if you still need a photographer, please let me know!
