I’m having seriiiious issues accessorising, and could use some help!
My dress is the Maggie Sottero Divina
I have already bought my shoes(and love them!)
My sash looks like this (but is on a black ribbon instead of ivory):
My headband is this one (except again, on black ribbon):
I fell in love with a bracelet which I think ties in well (and bought it):
Now I am stuck on earrings and necklace.
These are the earrings I ordered:
Thinking I would get this necklace:
But I’m worried the pearl doesn’t look quite right… and then…
I saw these and thought they work better, and are long enough I can skip a necklace:
but then there’s no pearl to tie it together… so maybe i skip a necklace.. but.. maybe i shouldn’t? I DONNOOO WHAT TO DO!
I’m sorry, I’m not sure why I’m freaking out, but I am. please help me

I would nix the necklace altogether if you are doing a statement bracelet, statement earrings and a headband. I just feel like it would be way too much. But i like the choices you’ve made.

So… nix the bracelet, and i’m good to go?
I just emailed the wonderful lady and asked if maybe she could do a combination of the earrings like this instead (this way, they’d be a bit longer, but not AS blingy as the really blingy ones.. and incorporates the pearl.)

Crystal earrings and no necklace. Everything looks lovely.

@EffieTrinket: Agree. I think the necklace is a no-go, especially since you’ll have on the headpiece.

also, I’m starting to question the shoes.. because of the bow… is that bad?!?!?
Yep, no necklace – just earings.
Don’t worry about your shoes, they are really cute! I like the bow & think it goes well with the flirtiness of your dress!

No, the bow on the shoes is awesome. Your accessories are lovely, you have great taste. What brand are those shoes? They remind me of Hey Lady, my dreeeeaaaam shoes!

i am also a divina bride! Yay! I purchased the blush with the crystal belt. I struggled with this as well. I chose a large cuff much like yours. I looked at necklaces and earrings but decided on a shorter drop earring and no necklace. I found a longer earring shortened my neck and chest area and where I’m not wearing a necklace they fit perfectly. Here is a shorter style, I chose something with a pearl for an example.

@JoolyBee: they are “le soir pour la victoire”- cristella is the style. I LOVE them, and they’re comfy!
@blushingbride1013: gah! I kinda hate that. I wanted it in blush too 🙁 but… my Bridesmaid or Best Man dress are blue and it wouldn’t have worked. Thanks for the heads up 🙂

Honestly you have A LOT of stuff going on right now. I would get much simpler earrings (smaller, shorter, even studs) and no necklace. I just don’t think too many bold accessories, I think it is distracting because the eye doesn’t know what to focus on.

@ChemistryBride: ou yes, this is one option I hadn’t put up there.
What if it was studs with just the rose thing? She has those. I could do that.

echoing what other posters have said… it’s too busy.
i’d definitely ditch the headband.
i would keep the bracelet.
but you’d have to choose between the necklace with small studs or no necklace with statement earrings.

I’m not a necklace person – so Im definitely leaning toward the longer earrings and the bracelet!!!
