So for reference, this is the outdoor space. We won’t be getting married where this couple had their ceremony though–ours will be over to the left, where the walkway opens up near the smaller waterfall and the hills.
Option 1: repurpose centerpieces by putting them on tall columns and have rose petals line the aisle. Sort of like this photo, but without the arch and the aisle runner. Not sure about the tulle.

Option 2: repurpose centerpiece flowers by putting them on mid-sized columns and rose petals lining aisle. Sort of like this, but without the swirly rose petals and with regular white columns.

Option 3: Line the aisle in a cool pattern with rose petals, and only have two columns of centerpiece flowers at the front of the ceremony on either side of us. Sort of like these two photos combined–the rose petal design lining the aisle with a swirl at the entrance to the aisle and with the two tall flower arrangements at the end of the aisle.

I’m concerned because our centerpieces will be big and round, so I don’t want to obstruct any views… But I really like the formality of the tall columns. I also really like the simple route. What do you think would look best?

I voted for option 3, as I really like the 3rd and 4th pictures. I like the simplicity of the aisles (I agree about not wanting to block views or have too much going on down the aisle) and think the tall columns with the flower arrangements at the front are really impactful. The flowers in the aisle in the 3rd picture are really cool too. Not sure how to describe it, but it seems to draw the eye into the aisle.

I really LOVE the last pic so that look gets my vote followed closely by the look in the second pic! All are quite lovely so you really can’t go wrong either way!

The formality of the columns looks a little out of place for the venue.
I prefer the last option.

Thanks for your responses! Do you think guests will ruin the flower petal design by walking on/around them… or am I over thinking it? =)

@PrincessBride27: Normally with an intricate petal design, the guests are seated from the sides. The wedding party members who precede the bride have to be careful. The Bride will almost surely mess up the design.

I agree, guests could be seated from the side. I have seen aisles tied off like this if you wanted to be sure:
