My friend is having both of her kids baptized and I have know clue what to buy for a presents for the kids.
My friend is Roman Cathlic if that helps any.
I was thinking that I should get both kids 2 presents one them a toy something they would really like and the other something that their mom could keep for them until they are a little older. Please let me know if I am on the right track ? I don’t want to offend any one or over step my bounds.

@ashasmith: Rosary beads are a pretty common present for a christening. Here you can get photo frames and albumns which say soemthing about christenings. Another common gift is a baby bracelet or a cross necklace especially for girls. Brass or silver money boxes are popular here too.

@ashasmith: This sounds odd but for my Goddaughter I got pandora bracelet with a suitable charm on it. Since then I got her a charm for her first birthday and Christmas. Her mum is going to give it to her on her Communion day. Hope this helps!
Another, cheaper idea is a personalised teddy. I have given a couple of these and they are prised possessions!
