I have heard of wooden or ceramic wedding bands. I think ceramic would be really cheap.

I have just a plain, 3mm hammered sterling silver band that I wore on the beach and while we were in town on our honeymoon in Mexico. I’m wearing my real set right now, so I don’t have a picture but it looks something like this;

What about something like this off of Amazon. Cheap and won’t turn your finger green;

@Benavis1489:  OMG, we just did that trip last May.  It was fantastic, you’re going to have such a great time!!!  Who did you book the tour with?  For rings, we just wore our usual wedding bands.  There was nothing hand intensive that could have damaged the rings and it felt safe.  I half a diamond half eternity, so maybe once in Cusco at night, I flipped it around to the plain side, other than that Cusco felt so safe and friendly I wasn’t worried.

I don’t have any suggestions (I wear some bands that I already have for travel), but I want to say that we did the same trip 2 years ago and it was my favorite vacation of all time! I hope you love it too! Enjoy!

Edit: I would agree with PP about wearing your band. I did not wear mine because I send my set back to Tacori every summer when we travel for buffing/cleaning/inspection, but I do have two channel set diamond/sapphire bands and they were just fine. I would also agree that Cusco is generally a very safe and friendly place. As a p.s. the man who owned the B&B we stayed in recommended Cicciolina for dinner and we loved it! Romantic and delicious!

Just wondering how the trip to Peru went? The fiance and I are thinking about going there for our honeymoon in July. We would love to visit Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines.
