Do you know why you are unhappy with it?

Have you told the dressmaker this?

What I’d do is try to find a way to make it fit you the way you like. You can get some clips like they use in bridal shops and monkey with it til (if you’re able to) you like it. Then take pictures — lots of pictures! See if they can work with you there. You may have better luck at a different seamstress, since this one didn’t work with how you wanted it to look.

I’m a big believer of “love what you have”, but I think a wedding gown is the only thing I’d stray from that belief on. You shouldn’t have to settle for a grown you’re just meh on. I wouldn’t be too hard on the dress, but don’t settle for it if it isn’t speaking that special language only your heart knows.

The dress doesn’t look bad to me. I could stand to see the waist brought in a little more (Right below the wrapping part on the left, there’s a weird bunching of fabric that stands out.)

I don’t think a dress with sparklies like that can make somebody look older. I personally don’t think you have to worry about looking aged in that dress.

If you don’t love it, then get another dress. The main problem I find with your current dress is that the bodice, skirt and capped sleeves are different shades of white. The bodice looks ivory, and the skirt and capped sleeves look white.

in the picture, it doesn’t look like it’s properly fitted to you.  there is a bit or a pucker on the one side.  i would also remove the sleeves.

you need to love your dress and feel beautiful in it so i hope that some alterations will help with that.

It’s pretty hard to really see thefull effect of the dress in that photo.  Can you takedome fromdifferent angles?  In better light?  Full length?  That might help…  I think the bodice looks pretty… But I can’t get a real sense of the rest.

i think the skirt of the dress needs to flow more. it looks as it it was meant to flow and the drapping on the right may restrict that. if it hung down strait instead of sweep to the side that will give it better shape
