Yes, I would count that as a positive result!  ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d count that as a positive – time to get busy!!

Looks pretty positive to me!  One thing is you might want to keep using these OPKs for the next week because the OPK only tests for the LH surge and does not determine if you actually ovulate.  One month, I had an LH surge at day 11 and I thought it was odd since, like you I had longer cycles and because I didn’t have any EWCM or other tell tale ovulation signs.  I continued to test and lo and behold on day 20 I had EWCM, ovulation cramps, and a few positive OPKS on day 21 (and my period 13 days later….)

@MARIE901: The TEST line does look darker than the CONTROL line. So if that’s accurate, it would seem that you gearing up to O. I would keep taking them. This means that you could O within the next 12-48 hours. But I would keep taking them after that time period too. If your cycle is so long, it could be that your body gets itself ready to O, but then for some reason does not.

Do you chart at all?

That looks definitely positive to me!! Get to it ๐Ÿ™‚ I second what PP have said about continuing to take them though. Sometimes it’ll surge without you actually O’ing. That happened to me a few days ago and if I hadn’t kept taking the OPKs we probably would’ve missed my real O.

it took me a full 10 days after the first false surge to get my real surge.  but, that month was a really long cycle for me (34 days).  after that month, i got into habit of monitoring my EWCM more closely and took OPKs until day 25 or so.

@MARIE901:It wasn’t that long for me…I got my first on Sunday and then yesterday (Tuesday) I got another one that was even darker and I’m pretty sure that was it! They can be hard to read sometimes. I really like the Clear Blue digital ones where you get a smiley face instead of having to decipher lines but they got too darn expensive!

@MARIE901:I’d just treat it as your O then ๐Ÿ™‚ Have you noticed any cervical mucus or cramping at all?

@MARIE901:Not always, it can just be a good indicator sometimes. Usually (not always though) the noticable CM will stop after O so that’ll be a good indicator too.
