How can you POSSIBLY go wrong with a Bee Gees cover? I’ve heard the “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” cover at a few weddings, and while super pretty, I might go for something different.

I think “Long Island Sound” has a great kind of quirky, upbeat rhythm which would work really well as a processional. Ditto for “Scenic World”. These are both by the same band, so I think that will make it easier to transition them. If you know anyone good with music, see what they can do for fading one out and the other in.

“Somewhere only we know” might work better as a recessional. But I love that song also.

When I was trying to figure out processionals, I liked what we picked for the BMs better than anything I could find for me. I picked “Radio Ballet” by Eluvium, and “Avril 14th” by Aphex Twin. I loved the Eluvium so much, we decided to just play it in it’s entirety, so there’s no different processional for me.

They’re pretty sedate, but we’re getting married in a Catholic church, so this was about all I could do to get away from The Wedding March or Pachabel’s Canon (horf).
