I think I (or we, since I called him to tell him the idea) decided on our wedding theme. It’s not unique or totally different but I like it. I think we’re going with a movie-themed wedding. We met at the movie theater when we worked there together and so I think it is fitting. We love watching movies! I thought I could incorporate my love for books too by putting the focus on books that have been turned into movies. This kills two birds with one stone 🙂 But what are some movies that were books first?? I keep getting stuck with just Nicholas Sparks books and I definitely don’t want the wedding to turn into a Nicholas Sparks wedding. Haha. I also want the movies to have some romantic/love story aspect to it. So any other ideas?!? Thanks!

The Time Traveller’s Wife is the only one I can think of right now. I’m a huge bookworm to so this is depressing me.
ETA–PS I love you! How could I have forgotten that one.

Oh there are so many great books made into movies. Kick Nicholas Sparks and his super cheesie butt to the curb. LOL

Well, I totally love the Harry Potter movies, but I guess there isn’t a ton of romance there. Although I didn’t realize till I started trying to make a list how many of the ones that immediately come to my mind are a major downer. Atonement, Jane Eyre, etc.
The Great Gatsby
Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist
The Perks of Being A Wallflower
The Princess Bride
Slumdog Millionaire
Water for Elephants
The Time Traveler’s Wife

Pride and Prejudice is a good romantic one. Or any of the Jane Austen’s for that matter.
