I don’t know about anyone else but I am absolutely hammered after a bottle of wine!

I base my number of bottles on that!

@creativeplannertobee:  Whoops. That was a typo. I want to say we ended up with about 8 or 10 bottles. I’m not at home right now to count.

I bought half a bottle of wine for each guest. We ended up with no white leftover and four bottles of red leftover. We also had two kegs, margaritas, and champagne. Co kaio hour started at 5 and reception ended at 11, so 6 hours of consumption. If you have a Total Wone near you, they’re great at helping you figure this stuff out!

I consider one bottle of wine to be 4 servings (people say 5 sometimes but those would be for smaller servings than restaurants/bars/people normally pour…5 glasses per bottle is just mean!).  I love wine and I could easily drink probably 4-5 glasses over a 5 hour reception (and I’d be feeling reallllly good!). I think people will drink slightly more than normal (on average) at a wedding than they would on just a regular weekend night.

I like wine so I’d drink that over any beer available.  Depends on the percentage of people you think would drink wine.  It’s always better to over buy than to run out.  Some liquor stores will take back unopened bottles.  Or you can just save it for yourselves!

I’d probably buy at least 25 bottles.
