Try this one from them… i loved it but not quite like I love the one I have:) Also, DB is great!!

It was only 449 and you can make it into a sweetheart neckline as well. Very light and simple!

The ivory was more beautiful than white. I actually tried it on in both. I am def.a “white ” girl but loved the ivory in this style!

I love the DB dress. It couldn’t hurt to go in and try the dress on. Usually DB has you buy the dress you try on unless they don’t have your size or particular color in stock in the store. I was able to buy my dress directly from the store, but I don’t think it takes too long for them to come in at that store.

You might be able to find some reasonably priced dresses at small salons in your area. I believe that salons can sometimes put in a rushed order for a dress. Have you thought about buying a dress from another bride? There are plenty of nice dresses out there that have never even been worn because the bride found a different dress they loved more. These dresses are usually a few hundered dollars cheaper. preownedweddingdresses.com has a large selection.

David’s bridal was super quick getting my bridesmaids dresses in.  They told us 6-8 weeks after we ordered them and they arrived in 2.  Alfred Angelo also has a lot of dresses in that price range and it took about 10 weeks for my dress to come in from them, but they also can do expediated shipping so it can be faster.

@redhead46: Mori lee  1655. The place I saw had it for $850 , but most places will work for you. If  you tell them your budget but you LOVE the dress they may just be willing to throw ya a little discount.  I love the dress you have posted , I loved it in pictures but it looked horrible on me. I am 5’6″ with the measurements of 36/28/38. It made my “little” pouch ten times worse and made me look shorter. I think b/c it has very little structure in it, it wears like a sheet :/ Beautiful , yes, but not made for me.

This  Mori Lee dress is very  structured and still has the lace detailing and sophisticated look. Even though it’s not a key hole back I think the back is also awe worthy.

I’m selling this one for $345 that I bought through church street bridal.  It needs a few repairs, like the seam sewn closed in two small sections and some lace needs to be retacked, but those are minor repairs.  It’s Jim Hjelm 8709 in ivory, size 12.  I’m 5’2″ and 135 lbs, similar to your size.  Let me know if you’re interested!  ๐Ÿ™‚

@Anniebo: O I’m sorry I just reread and noticed you only have 4 months. IDK if you have many other options other than davids. Have you thought about an organza or chiffon dress with maybe a lace veil?  That way you satiate your love for lace and have a romantic dress with no shine.

I bought mine from a local bridal shop and I bought off the rack (meaning I bought the exact one I tried on the day I tried it on) and it was under $800 (BEFORE alterations). It can be done ๐Ÿ™‚ I took her home a month later, so don’t stress too much about it. Plus, you could always check ebay or even on here for other brides selling their dress (sometimes unused and unaltered).
